This agreement is between: _________________________________ (buyer) and Danielle Nichols/Ammardan Kennels (breeder/seller)
The dog, indicated above, is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale. The Buyer has a health guarantee of seventy-two (72) hours in which to have the dog examined by a licensed veterinarian and is urged to do so. If the veterinarian finds any serious illness with the dog, it will be exchanged for a dog of the same breed and same sex as soon as available, providing a letter from the veterinarian is offered as evidence of the dog’s illness, and on the condition that the dog is returned to the Seller within the guarantee period. The Buyer shall be entitled to a dog of the same breed and same sex as soon as one is available. Ammardan Kennels is not responsible for the veterinary expenses or medical bills. No refund of purchase price.
The dog is guaranteed to be free of any serious life threatening genetic defects concerning the heart, liver, kidneys, hips or eyes for two (2) years from date of sale. In the event that a licensed veterinarian diagnoses that the dog has a serious life threatening genetic defect the Seller shall have the option to have the dog examined by a licensed veterinarian of their choosing. If it is determined that a genetic and/or birth defect exists, the Seller will replace the puppy as soon as one becomes available, on the condition that the dog is returned to the Seller within the guarantee period. The Seller is not responsible for any veterinary expenses. It is further understood that the Seller is not responsible for the dog or veterinary expenses if buyer chooses not to return the dog.
The Seller assumes no responsibility for this dog, after leaving the Seller’s premises, for medical expenses, mortality, or for any other reason. The Seller does not guarantee against Coccidiosis, Giardia, Corona Virus, Parvo, or any other type of intestinal virus or parasite. It is further understood and agreed that the dog is purchased “As Is” and no implied warranties or representations have been made with respect to the dog sold, except as set forth in writing this agreement. This includes that there is no guarantee for umbilical hernias or un-descended testicles, both of which are easy fixes while the dog is being spayed or neutered.
It is further understood that the Seller does not warrant any dogs sold to be free of Heart Worm. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to administer Heart Worm Medication to the dog from the time the dog is eight (8) weeks of age, according the veterinarian’s instructions.
If the dog cannot be kept, for any reason, it is to be returned to Ammardan Kennels. No refunds on purchase price. If you have another home in mind for the dog, it is required to be cleared with us first. Ammardan Kennels must know where the dog resides. Dog cannot be surrendered to a shelter, rescue, or like organization. If the dog is found to be placed elsewhere there will be a fine charged for the price of puppy for breach of contract.
The Buyer also agrees to use our kennel name, “Ammardan”, as a prefix to the dog’s registration name.
Any and all shipping charges are the responsibility of the Buyer before puppy is shipped.
The buyer agrees to keep the dog up to date on any and all needed vaccinations, de-worming medications, and heartworm prevention as your veterinarian recommends. The dog must receive any necessary veterinary treatment, whether accidental or illness, routine or emergency. We also request annual updates on the dog with atleast one photograph. This can be in the form of a Christmas card with a few general lines, but we want to know where and how the dog is, and it helps us very much to see how each puppy has matured.
This puppy is to be spayed by 1 year of age, but not before 6 months.
This puppy is sold on limited registration. Buyer understands this puppy cannot be bred or shown in conformation events, but is still eligible for performance events. If Buyer decides in the future that they want full registration, the Buyer must contact the Seller and an extra fee (worth the balance of $1500) will be charged for full registration papers.
The buyer agrees and understands that this deposit in non-refundable once received by sellers. In the event of accidental loss of or problem with puppy by Ammardan Kennels, deposit is refundable to buyer or buyer may hold deposit for the next available puppy of choice.
